Is it OK to use European coarse grinding for crushing coal gangue?
Coal gangue is a solid waste discharged in the process of coal mining and coal washing. It is a kind of black gray rock with low carbon content and harder than coal that is associated with coal seams in the process of coal formation.
The coal gangue is abandoned and occupies a large area of land. The emission or leaching of sulfide from coal gangue will pollute the atmosphere, farmland and water. In order to eliminate pollution, since the sixties, many countries began to pay attention to the treatment and utilization of coal gangue.
After crushing and milling, coal gangue can be used in the production of cement, sintered bricks, light aggregate, combustion power generation and other fields. Applications in different fields have different requirements for the particle size and state of coal gangue. Therefore, the equipment selected for coal gangue processing will also be different.
Whether the coal gangue is used for brick making, cement additive or coal gangue power plant, the commonly used processing equipment include jaw breaking, impact breaking, Raymond mill, European mill, vertical mill, coarse grinding and other machines.
Among them, European coarse grinding, also known as European hammer grinding, is mainly used for medium and fine crushing and coarse grinding of materials. It can be used for the processing of coal gangue. The discharging particle size is between 0-3mm. If you want to produce coal gangue particles in this particle size range, you can choose European coarse grinding.
If you want to process the coal gangue into fine powder of 150 mesh and 200 mesh, it is not appropriate to use European coarse grinding. European plate mill, Raymond mill and vertical mill are more appropriate for such fineness range. Because of the high fineness requirements, of course, the output will be lower than that of coarse powder.
If you do not want to carry out grinding, you only need to select jaw breaking and impact breaking for crushing. You can discharge coarse and fine aggregates of 0.5, 1-2, 1-3 and 3-8cm in different specifications for paving, construction and other fields.
To sum up, many crushing and milling equipment can be used to process coal gangue, and we need to select the appropriate equipment according to our own production needs. You can submit the output, incoming and outgoing dimensions, etc. to the online customer service, and we will configure suitable equipment models for you.
