
What are the causes of cone breaking? How can we reduce the damage to the cone breaking cone?
Moving cone is an important part of cone crusher, which needs to be matched with combination bolts, spherical bearings and upper and lower bushings, so it will inevitably be worn in production.
What are the main reasons for the damage of the crusher cone?
1. Improper spring compression
After the cone crusher is put into use, if there are violent vibration, low production efficiency, large product size and other phenomena, it is the performance of insufficient compression force of the cone crusher. In order to ensure the smooth production, some manufacturers will readjust the compression amount of the spring. Although the compression force of the cone crusher is increased, the workload of the moving cone is increased, causing damage to the moving cone.
2. Overload operation of equipment
In line with the production policy of "more breaking, less grinding, cost reduction and efficiency increase", many manufacturers will improve the productivity of cone crusher by further reducing the particle size of qualified ore, increasing ore feed and other methods, resulting in long-term overload operation, which will further increase the burden on the moving cone. If this continues, the moving cone will eventually be damaged.
3. The moving cone is frequently impacted
When non broken objects enter the body of the cone crusher, uneven ore feeding at the feed inlet or damaged locking cylinder of the cone crusher will cause the moving cone to be impacted frequently. When a transient impact load approaches the strength limit of the moving cone, its weak parts will be damaged, resulting in small microcracks. Under the long-term action of heavy load and alternating load, microcracks gradually expand and finally lead to the damage of the moving cone.
4. Uneven force on moving cone
When the cone crusher is working, the forces it bears mainly include the inertia force of the cone, the gravity of the movable cone, the reaction force of the spherical bearing, the reaction force of the eccentric shaft sleeve, the inertia force of the crushing cone and the eccentric shaft sleeve (including the counterweight), etc. If the resultant force of these forces is not zero, the force on the movable cone will be unbalanced, resulting in excessive vibration of the equipment, damage to the movable cone, etc.
5. Loose moving cone
Since there is no testing tool for the preload between the moving cone head and the main shaft thread, the maintenance workers learned from experience in actual work that the preload cannot meet the technical requirements after the stop gear and the cone head gear mesh. When the cone crusher operates under load, the cone head loosens, causing wear of gears and moving cones.
6. Poor contact of support surface
The moving cone of the cone crusher is supported on the spherical bearing bush of the spherical bearing seat. When the spherical bearing bush is worn or has quality problems, it will cause the moving cone to move downward, and its supporting contact surface can not be in good contact, which will cause the friction of the moving cone to increase and cause serious damage.
It can be seen from this that there are so many situations that can lead to the damage of the cone breaking cone. What should be done to reduce the damage to the cone in daily production?
1. Strictly control the feeding granularity. It is forbidden to enter too large and hard materials, so as to avoid aggravating the friction and wear between the moving cone and materials. Timely check and reinforce the lining plates and parts of each part, strengthen the post inspection and patrol, and prevent non broken objects from entering the cone crusher.
2. Feed evenly. Improve the structure of the feeding port to ensure that the materials enter the crushing chamber evenly. At the same time, the ore feeding amount should be determined according to the crushing situation, and should not be too much.
3. Improve the moving cone structure. By increasing the width of the shaft diameter of the cone crusher, thickening the size of the umbrella plate of the cone body, and increasing the number of internal reinforcing ribs from 4 to 6, the structure of the moving cone is improved, the strength of the moving cone is increased, and the damage of the moving cone is reduced.
4. Reduce impact load. Change the lock cylinder oil seal from the original lip type rubber oil seal to the wear-resistant special-shaped polyurethane oil seal to reduce the damage of the lock cylinder of the cone crusher. At the same time, the production load borne by the moving cone is reduced by reasonably adjusting the clearance of the ore discharge mouth and timely adjusting the ore inflow according to the ore properties.
5. Pay attention to the maintenance of moving cone. Before starting the cone crusher each time, check the connecting parts of the moving cone to see if they are loose. If they are, fasten them in time to avoid loosening the moving cone during operation. On the other hand, pay attention to check the force on the moving cone during production. If the force is not balanced, the cone crusher's moving cone will be damaged.
