Crushing equipment - jaw crusher

Jaw crusher is a type of crushing equipment used in mining and construction industries. It is designed to crush large pieces of rocks or ores into smaller pieces, and is widely used in mining, quarrying, and construction industries.

The basic structure of a jaw crusher consists of a fixed jaw plate and a moving jaw plate. The moving jaw plate is mounted on a pitman arm, which is driven by an eccentric shaft. The eccentric shaft is driven by a motor or diesel engine, which rotates the moving jaw plate back and forth against the fixed jaw plate. The moving jaw plate compresses the material between the two jaw plates, causing the material to break and fall through the discharge opening at the bottom of the crusher.

Jaw crushers are classified based on the width of the discharge opening. The common classifications are:

1. **Pe jaw crusher**: The discharge opening width of pe jaw crusher is less than 300mm, it is suitable for small and medium-sized crushing projects.

2. **Pex jaw crusher**: The discharge opening width of pex jaw crusher is between 300-600mm, it is suitable for medium and large-sized crushing projects.

3. **Jc jaw crusher**: The discharge opening width of jc jaw crusher is between 600-1200mm, it is suitable for large-sized crushing projects.

Jaw crushers have several advantages, such as simple structure, easy maintenance, low operating costs, and high crushing efficiency. However, they also have some limitations, such as limited capacity, and not suitable for crushing wet or sticky materials.

Jaw crushers are widely used in various industries, such as mining, quarrying, and construction industries, for crushing different types of stones and ores.
